Whoever you are and however you're feeling, your local church, St Mary of Bethany, would love to invite you to join us for Christmas.

At the heart of Christmas, as we retell the story of the birth of Jesus, we're celebrating that God has come to us and is with us, whatever we're facing. It's a message of hope, peace, love and joy that's not just sparkly and bright, far removed from real life, but one where light comes and meets us in the darkness.

On Sunday 19th December at 6.30pm is the opportunity to gather as a community and sing some familiar carols - please do come along. The real heart of Christmas has room for all of us, however we experience the Christmas season.

We feel it is important that everyone who wants to attend church in person feels safe to do so. We continue to advise everyone to wear a mask during our services; a range of exemptions apply and we do not insist on it. Our stewards have disposable masks at the door if you leave home without one. We continue to ventilate our large worship space well (so you may want to wrap up as the weather turns colder), we operate with a reduced seating capacity and we ask that you sanitise your hands on arrival.
